I hope you guys had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend - I know our family had a blast! Too bad
I've been battling allergies and full-blown bronchitis for the last 3 weeks, ugh. I have one question...why does it have to get worse before it gets better???
I have a couple of new songs this week, I don't have the choreography perfected - but thought we'd give them a shot. One is a simple cha cha step and mambo combination; no worries, you'll do great!
Escape - Enrique Iglesias - (warm-up)
Chismosita - ZIN 20 (cha cha mambo)
The rest of the playlist:
I Need to Know - Marc Anthony
Rakata - Wisin and Yandel
LaVida Es Un Carnaval - Celia Cruz
How Do You Sleep - Jesse McCartney
No Te Pido Flores - Fanny Lu
Pasarela - ZIN 20
Jump in the Line - Harry Belafonte
Alegria Pa Zumbar - Zumba 2008 DVD's
Four Minutes - Justin T. and Madonna
El Bom Bom Asesino - Ninel Conde
Simarik - Tarkan
Breath (2am) - Anna Nalick
Thank you, everyone, for putting up with my absent-mindedness while I've been on this very strong cough medicine...I'm such a perfectionist and hate being off beat or when my mind forgets choreography - my body always knows the truth! Oh well, nobody's perfect, right?
Have a great week!

I recently met a new LOCAL scrapbook buddy online at TwoPeasinabucket.com, Christina Thomas. Not only do we share scrapbooking in common, but we're both instructors for the YMCA (she teaches in Sylvania). She entered a contest for the Original Scrap Box Company recently and I'm asking that we support her by voting for her layout (shown above):
Thanks everyone - Christina and I appreciate you :)
Have a great week!

For Zumba this week...we're flying by the seat of our pants...Nina and I have been battling allergy-sinus infections and I'm not feeling so hot today. But I did add a new non-latin song to my repertoire, Jesse McCartney's "How Do You Sleep?" Such a cute song...and he is a great performer - originally from the Disney Channel. No worries, I choregraphed some Salsa in there so it still has that Latin feel :-)
Good news, I officially have my Saturday mornings back after 18 months of teaching Zumba. My last class at Dance Expressions was last week and I'm not sure if I'm going to return in the Fall because of school. I will actually have a day to do laundry again - but more importantly, to SLEEP IN!!!! Yeah, baby!!
So...have a great week, enjoy the beautiful weather (we're going for a record at 3 days straight full of sunshine) and have fun in class. Thanks for sacrificing your Tuesdays and Thursdays to dance with me. You all ROCK!

With these 2 layouts, I challenged myself not to use an cardstock...boy that was hard. I feel like I'm morphing into more complicating (and busy) scrappping. I'm enjoying my break from school so I'm putting more effort into my pages...I can't wait until the kids are out of school!

Happy End of Semester for me...I've got 2 weeks off and then, I get busy again for 8 weeks. Oye.
Meanwhile, I am working on creating a new routine - with songs from the latest Zumba release (ZIN 20) and some top latin songs from iTunes. With Mother's Day this past weekend, I didn't get anything accomplished but one song and I'm debuting it tonight! You guys will love the funky Reggaeton feel to it! And then it'll be off to CD #10, from January of this year.

Brick House – Commodores
Just Dance – Lady GaGa
